E-commerce sector is a growing day by day in Bangladesh. Many young entrepreneurs have started their career as CEO or owner of e-commerce website. They like to be rich by hard working rather than getting a job under large capital companies. But one thing when e-commerce is growing, traditional business is downing. This idea of buy and sell directly from manufacturer to customer may change all old model of our business. This is really threat to traditional shops who don’t want to transit to digital world competition. It has operated a campaign named ‘Black Friday’ in this country. When they claimed discount jointly venturing with mobile phone operator company Robi Axiata, they had faced many criticism of right time delivery problem. At that time this site had many buy orders against stock.
2. Ajker Deal: Ajker deal is a website that sells goods online. This site also spent big investment. And it had started in early while a few e-commerce sites launched in Bangladesh. Ajker Deal sells Food, Shoe, Cloth, Books, Etc.
3. Rokomari: Rokomari.com is a book seller, but after a certain time this site also started to sell other goods such as electronics. We can remember Amazon also had started with book selling program in United States, and making profits today as e-commerce conglomerate. May be Rokomari.com’s CEO wants to be like Amazon. Readers are happy with Rokomari book selling program in CASH ON DELIVERY offer. But this site sometimes annoys customers sending new book arrivals. And very few book reviews in this website can’t help readers to choose a book correctly.
4. PriyoShop: Priyo.com was a news website in early period of internet experience in Bangladesh. This site used to showcase news on their website gathering from daily newspapers and news agencies. When News sites coming with lines of ant they have changed their policies. They convert their their contents to Bengali language from English. 5. BDshop: BD shop is a new e-commerce website that sells China products, especially electronic goods with other consumer products.
6. Rightchoice: Rightchoice BD is another new e-commerce website launched in 2015 from Hotel 71, in Dhaka. But people having slow browsing speed in this website.
7. BD Haat: BD haat is not a bad e-commerce website. When you go to this website you will see many products like haat, weekly bazar.
8. Click BD: Click BD is a name in Bangladesh that sold their spaces to other businessmen like directory advertisement. But in this day, they offer products to people, and growing quickly.
9. Akhoni: This site also a good investment e-commerce site in Bangladesh. When other e-commerce site was just a classified website, this site was real e-commerce site that used to sell products from their house and reach to customers by forwarders. Akhoni still now is an awesome site.
10. Kaymu BD: Kaymu is a big investment site. It is selling goods over the country. It offers business to business contract like Daraz and ajker deal websites.
Websites are not just website in this day they can make money selling goods. Now a days local e-commerce facing problems because of foreign investment and e-commerce websites. e-cab, a e-commerce association, demands creating obstacle to foreign e-commerce sites to operate business in this country.
